Zhejiang Zhicheng Arts wallcovering Co., Ltd., was founded in 1972, is the first meritorious enterprise in China's wallpaper industry，and has been a leader in the industry for more than 50 years of cooperation with world's top brands. It is the vice president unit of China Wallpaper and Wall cloth Association, the intangible cultural heritage protection base, and the only research and production base of the national intangible cultural heritage "grasscloth wallpaper". It is also the enterprise that formulated the group standard of "Plant Fiber Wallpaper" in Zhejiang Manufacturing, and participated in the National 863 Program, engaged in the tasks of planting, promoting,studying new cultivar jute.
Over the past 50 years, the company is keeping pace with the times and expanding . In 1988, Liyun Zhang founded Dongyang Sanyi Industrial Co., Ltd.; In 1990, Zhejiang Zhicheng Arts wallcovering Co., Ltd. became the first Sino-foreign joint venture in Dongyang, Liyun Zhang as the chairman, holding 22.12% of the shares, and his son Jianfeng Zhang holding 66.07%; In 2009, Jianfeng Zhang invested in the establishment of Zhejiang Amazon Art wallcovering Co., Ltd., which was renamed Zhejiang Shuangdong Decoration Materials Co., Ltd. in 2019. Jianfeng Zhang is the chairman and holds 45% of the shares (held by Zhejiang Zhicheng Arts wallcovering Co., Ltd. on behalf).
Zhicheng and Shuangdong are production enterprises that integrate research，development, production, and sales，and also combines craft wallpaper and industrial wallpaper. It is the only enterprises in the country that have the production capacity of multi-category wallpaper. Both are national high-tech enterprises, Zhejiang Manufacturing "Pin" Mark Certification Enterprises, China Green Product Certification Enterprises, and Zhejiang Provincial "Specialized, New, High-tech, and Unique" Enterprises. Zhicheng owns 17 new utility patents and 1 invention patent, while Shuangdong owns 8 new utility patents and 2 invention patents. The product categories covers natural wallpaper such as grasscloth wallpaper, paper woven wallpaper, yarn wallpaper, handmade special wallpaper, cotton yarn wallpaper etc; industrial wallpaper, such as PVC wallpaper, non-woven wallpaper, and composite silk wallpaper etc. In addition,enterprise also produce all-round primer film and mold-proof and antibacterial wallcovering glue.

The area of factory is more than 52,000㎡and the construction area is over 70,000 ㎡. There are more than 100 sets of hand-operated looms, over 40 sets of rapier looms, and more than 60 sets of various advanced equipment. Additionally, there are 3 wide-width production lines and 3 narrow-width production lines, with over 200 workers in the factory area. Furthermore, the company operates 10 co-prosperity workshops outside the factory, equipped with over 500 sets of hand-operated looms, and a cultivation base spanning approximately 667,000 ㎡. The company is able to produce an annual output of 6 million meters of grasscloth craft wallpaper and 90 million meters of industrial wallpaper.
