I, Requirements on the wall:
1, The wall must be dry, smooth, clean and free of mildewing, dirt or grease. The external and internal corners must be smooth, straight, and free of cracks or chips;
2, It is recommended to paint the wall with varnish before applying the wallpaper to facilitate the future replacement of the wallpaper, enhance the water-resistant and mildew resistant capacity, as well as resist the penetration of the acid or alkaline substance from the wall.
3, Draw a vertical line from the ceiling to the floor, and the edge of the first wallpaper shall coincide with this line.
II, Wallpapering:
1、Before applying the wallpaper, please carefully check whether the wallpaper is in same color generally. As a hand-made product, the natural fiber wallpaper may be slightly uneven in the color. That is normal and acceptable.
2、Pattern matching should take into account when applying the wallpaper with regular patterns; cut the wallpaper in the length which is moderately longer than the cycle of the pattern;
3、Dab at the back of the wallpaper with a clean and damp sponge or cloth (note that the sponge or cloth must not be too wet, and never souse the wallpaper in water). Do not get water on the surface of the wallpaper. Place the wallpaper for 4 to 5 minutes and let the wood pulp base absorb the moisture to smooth out the wallpaper easily;
4、Apply the properly mixed wallpaper glue on the wall evenly with a brush. It is particularly important to apply correct amount of glue with uniform thickness throughout the wall without omission. No glue is allowed to leak out of the wallpaper. In order to avoid color fading, do not scrub the wallpaper surface with water. Apply the wallpaper pieces that have been arranged in order.
5、After the wallpaper is glued onto the wall, smooth gently the wallpaper with a plastic scraper to remove the blisters, wrinkles and excess glue; in order to avoid contamination, do not scrape the glue out of the seams. If the glue is inadvertently scraped out, immediately wipe it with a dry towel.
6、The wallpaper should be cut with a 1 cm overlap at margin after properly matching the pattern (excluding the slit margin); due to the special feature of the natural material of the wallpaper and in order to avoid the obvious seams caused by the rough edge, please use a sharp knife.
7、It is recommended to apply the wallpaper that requires no pattern matching in the forward and reverse directions to make it even in tone.
III, Method of cleaning
1, The natural fiber wallpaper must not be washed. Please clean it with a vacuum cleaner.
2, Note that the natural fiber wallpaper is dyed with the environmentally friendly pigments that meet the European standard, and it will be slightly faded when it gets in touch with water.
VI, Notes:
1、Please read carefully the introduction to application.
2、As a hand-made product, the slight seams in the natural fiber wallpaper are normal and acceptable.
3、Please check the wallpapering work while applying the wallpaper. If any problem is found, please immediately stop the wallpapering work and determine the cause; contact the distributor if the problem is caused by the product itself; if the wallpapering work is irrationally continued when any problem is found, it will be regarded as inadequate, and the applicator be responsible for all the consequences and our Company will not be responsible for the compensation for more than three pieces of wallpaper for whatever reason.
